Stockland, Highlands (VIC)

Nestled within an eco playground at Stockland’s Highlands is our O fountain, making it attractive and easy to access freshwater whilst enjoying the park.

Outdoor play defines a childhood. Building forts, climbing trees, getting dirty and chasing butterflies have a certain magic that can’t be captured via a digital screen.

So it’s encouraging to see new outdoor parks start to integrate more of the natural world; where play equipment is created using largely natural materials (and often recycled ones too!) What a wonderful way to create positive, meaningful relationships with nature!

The park has been designed by landscape architects from Spiire who together with Stockland considered how waste from Highlands could be spared from landfill and reused and repurposed within a park setting.

The fun, exploratory landscape was developed with this in mind reflecting Stockland’s commitment to building sustainable communities that regenerate the environment and encourage active and healthy lifestyles.

Reimagined playgrounds need reimagined water points!
